Hi All, I've really enjoyed reading the advice on this site and having been nudged towards the Super Ideal H&A's now need some help deciding. I'm looking for some advice on 2 super ideals. Both ~1.7c FSI1's:

1) CBI
http://www.hpdiamonds.com/en-us/diamonddetail/HPD8635
MEASUREMENTS 7.7 - 7.72 x 4.73 mm
TABLE SIZE 56.0%
TOTAL DEPTH 61.3%
PAVILION ANGLE 40.8°
CROWN ANGLE 34.2°

2) VC
https://www.victorcanera.com/diamonds/e4czvy-1.723-f-si1-ideal-hearts-arrows-round
Depth Percent 61.5%
Table Percent 55.5%
Crown Angle 34.7°
Pavilion Angle 40.8°
Dimensions (LxWxD) 7.74x7.71x4.76

Assuming pricing is v similar, which would you buy? Images, AGS reports etc all on the links.

VC has a video which helps. Inclusions are more spread out so more likely eye-clean.

CBI stone only has a pic. It looks clean enough but the IS images show hat there is larger inclusion on the 6pm arrow. This one also has some feathers in the girdle.

Any advice would be much appreciated!!!

Thank you!

Is VC doing your setting too? Might make more sense to get the diamond from him? Stone looks gorgeous anyway!

Tough choice. Both are beautiful stones. I can't pick the inclusions in the image of the CBI stone whereas on the VC vid I can make out some of the clouds and crystals.

The VC stone however looks just a tad more optically symmetrical to my eyes.

If all else was equal price wise and I was looking at a setting as well, I'd lean more towards VC.

Thanks @Snowdrop13 and @bmfang

I won't be getting a setting as I have one in mind locally. Will just be stone only which will reduce import charges.
It's not entirely equal as really the VC is about $750 cheaper approx. CBI stone inclusions you can only really see on the AGS report but its tough as the image isn't v clear to me :)

Both vendors also look like they have ridiculously good upgrade policies as well which don't require you to upgrade 2 of the 4C's or to spend double the original stone's price.

Yes true - HPD has a better buyback policy but I'm hoping it never comes to that!
