Hello :wavey:

I am seeking some reassurance (or advice) on my purchase from the experts. I know I should have asked before making the purchase, but I recently got a beautiful BGD Signature H&A 1 ct / F / SI1, which is eye clean (must be, as Brian told me that it was).

Here is the link to the stone:

Everything looked good, until I looked at the AGS report carefully for the second time. There is a small cavity in the girdle, which I cannot see in the face up view photo. Please take a look at the AGS report:

Is this something that I should be worried about? I read somewhere on the net that some diamonds with cavities in the girdle need to be avoided. I hope this is not the case. If this is not going to be an issue, do you think it can be covered up under a prong? It is being set in a BGD 6-prong half round Tiffany style setting.

Thank you so much in advance!

I would ask BGD about it?

I actually did a few hours ago, and I know Jamie or Leslie will get back to me tomorrow morning. Not that I don't trust them or anything, but I just wanted to see if I can get some reassurance from an outside party. I know it is difficult to comment without seeing the actual diamond. :loopy:

I would not worry about a cavity that is not a grade setting inclusion, the cloud, since it is less significant than the SI1 grade, probably VS2 or better.
