Nope, dont see anything wrong with it. Its an AGS000 H&A with the right numbers and good images. Its hard to nitpick
a Super Ideal stone!
Can you share web links of the new & old stone so we can look at the videos?
Thank you so much for writing such detail and really looking into it! Now I feel much better about it! You are definitely right about 76 which favors indirect/soft lighting which is bothering me a little bit when I'm outside so I might like it better in bright lighting outside. How about the additional pinpoints are not shown - this is not something to worry about I bet. Thank you so much for your kind words, I'll post a pic soon hopefully. Thanks for sharing the links.
Wow, that 1.985 is very clean. Even in the magnified videos I had a tough time finding all the inclusions. Zoom back to normal levels with the naked eye and there is no doubt it will be eye clean. I really like how crisp & clear the stone looks in the video. Also, you can see the stone is full of zest & fire in both the sparkle & brilliance videos.
Hands down, I think the 1.985 is an excellent choice & would have no hesitations with upgrading.
I had noticed some very minor variances in proportions. For instance, the old stone had an ever so slightly smaller table, barely shorter LGF's, shorter stars, slightly higher crown height and a slightly shallower pavilion. Also, when comparing the hearts image I noticed the 1.985 appears to be cut a little more tightly than your old stone.

So I was really curious how the old & new videos might compare to one another. You won't see any drastic differences, but there may be some small personality changes. Ones you may even prefer. For instance, the longer 77 LGF's help provide a more balanced performance in both soft & bright lighting as opposed to 76's who ever so slightly favor indirect/soft lighting. In fact, many say 77 is the perfect balance. It's these type of nuances we are talking about.
Or you may not notice anything and think I'm crazy. That's cool too. One thing is certain, the 1.985 is a phenomenal stone so you'd be crazy to not think it's absolutely stunning!
Wishing you well on your upgrade! Please post pics of the completed ring.
