I'd say no on that diamond. I don't like black inclusions that are visible from the top of the stone. The measurements are a little out of the safe range, as well.

These are measurements to help you stay in ideal cut territory with a GIA excellent cut stone.

table: 54-58

depth: 60-62.3

crown angle: 34-35.0 (up to 35.5 crown angle can sometimes work with a 40.6 pav angle)

pavilion angle: 40.6-40.9 (sometimes 41.0 if the crown angle is close to 34)

I think you could probably safely drop down to a F or a G in colour too and save a bit or get a better clarity or a larger stone and it will still be a very "white" diamond.

Usually, I would recommend BGD or WF, but if you want Gabriel & Co. setting, I would call IDJewelry and give them your entire budget plus setting selection. They will be able to provide you with the best price on that setting and will help you choose a great stone!

Thanks for the help! Any links to a diamond would be appreciated!!

As I said, call IDJ tomorrow. Yekutiel and his team are great regarding recommending stones on a somewhat limited budget. Give them the Gabriel&Co. setting SKU number as well. Tell them that you are looking for the biggest possible, eye-clean H/I stone with excellent/ideal cut. Tell them that the stone needs to pass "PS standards". Once he gives you some recommendations, you can come back here and post the ASET/idealscope images and everyone can give you additional feedback.

Something like this would be my choice within your budget- a super sparkly, top range stone with a great upgrade policy:

The link to your setting doesn't work for me so I can't tell if Whiteflash have something similar- I'm sure I read somewhere that they can buy in settings from elsewhere so your setting might be possible.

This would be a lovely stone!

Whiteflash has a couple of settings that a similar to what you are looking for...
This one is a split shank Ritani. Below is a picture with a .7 stone in it so you can see how it looks.
