I personally think the ring as is will look outstanding when finished. A lot of people have different opinions because we all like different things, so please don''t get discouraged! I think it''s wonderful you''re trying to design a ring that will look unique and none of her friends will have. Can I ask what size is the center diamond going to be? The inspiration ring is very pretty, but from the pictures that I have seen of Whiteflash rings on this site, yours will look much better. If there are certain things that you really like then by all means stick with it, and then incorporate the suggestions here that you like as well. :) Good luck!

thanks for the encouragement moobaby =) I am making a list of the suggestions I will try to incorporate and hopefully the new CAD will result in a less overwhemling setting and smaller basket region which should help showcase the centerstone rather than smuther it.

The center diamond is 0.716 c. (about 5.8mm diameter).

oh and i was told this setting is approx 5.5mm in height... I may get them to bump it up approx 0.5mm-1.0mm - that may help make the center diamond show off a littlllle more? *shrugs*

Ill second the last opinion. Everyone has different opinions on what they like. You know your fiancee best. Take some of the points peoiple are saying, but don''t quit and don''t be dissapointed in the ring. It looks great, and you''re open to changing little things to make it better. I know a couple of my FIs friends don''t like her ring, but thats cause they like princess solitaires in yellow. Im personally not a fan of anitque rings. to busy for me. BUT THATS JUST ME!!!! Another example is my FI found the wedding dress of her dreams, and when she brought her friends back to see it they didn''t like it and really upset her. One thing you could do is if you are still undecided is to just buy the diamond from WF or goodoldgold. I believe one of those at least can come in a small tension mount that looks like a ring, and then the 2 of you guys can design, buy the setting together. I have to admit I enjoyed having my FI as part of the process as I was SURE she would liek the ring (after the first 5 change of opinions)hehe. Keep at it, and you know your FI to be. Listen to your thoughts. PSers have a lot of GREAT advice to keep you on track, to sort out the bad from good, get you the incredible deals, and to share stories with, but EVERYONE LIKES SOMETHING DIFFERENT. Its all personal taste.

Good luck
