both look good. Hearts image?

The rest depends on your priority.

They both look near perfect. Are you having either of them set it for you? I''d probably go for the G. Tough choice!

They all look good, do you have hearts images please?

The one I decide will set the stone as well. I like the 6 prong Tiffany setting but not sure on a band with it. Can you guys also point in to a picture of a good combo on that aspect? Thanks

these diamonds are both so awesome that perhaps which you go with would come down to what setting you prefer at which vendor.
tough choices like these are enviable problems to have

Coin flip. Both vendors will be able to do a great quality setting, as well. (I'm no help at all.

yap, agreed, flip a coin. :P

You can''t go wrong here, gorgeous stones!

You''ve picked two winners - I guess if I was to decide between them, I''d just go for the higher color!

Well this is what I have on reserve 1.761 @ W/F Please feel free to give feedback on this diamond compared to the other ones..I think a fellow pricescoper beat me to the other W/F stone. Thats ok as they will be getting a great stone. Liza really has bent over backwards for me on this.It was a toss up for me but I am not sure I saw or would be able to see the $800 differance.. I did run accross this on "askmen" from and interview with Brian Gavin and it helped me..

Q: Which of the 4 Cs (cut, clarity, color, and carat) is the most important characteristic to consider when buying a diamond?

The most important characteristic is cut. The cut is the quality of a diamond''s proportions, described in angles and percentages. It is not merely how symmetric the diamond is, as described by the "symmetry" grade on the lab report, as you may be told. Cut has the most impact on a diamond''s overall beauty. Many consumers are kept in the dark about the finer details of cut. Click here for more information.

After cut, our money is on clarity, then color -- because great cut quality can make a stone appear more colorless. As for carat weight, we all want size (and so do our women), but given a choice, the stone with the best cut quality wins.

Now all I have to do this weekend is find a W/F setting with the band in mind for later. I like the
Legato or Tiffany but not sure with the band later with them and I don''t want lil diamonds and things taking away from my main rock.. I am open for suggestions.

Thanks again

JJ

Great choice!!

Though it''s not like you could really go wrong

The measurements on that Brian Gavin diamond must be off...or else the diamond is out of round. Are you sure it's 7.65 x 7.87 ??

Here is what I got

Huh, weird!
Its probably a typo, I have seen this before. Good catch Laila, I should have noticed this earlier. jjnindy just check this with BGD.

Yeah, I''m thinking it is supposed to be 7.65 x 7.67. Much more in line with what a 1.7 carat would be.
