Hi all,
I have a beautiful Mine Cut diamond engagement ring from my first marriage. It was purchased at Long''s Jewelers for $1000.00, and I have the appraisal which stated that it was worth $1250.00 when purchased in 1999. The appraisal from Long''s states the following:
One Lady''s diamond engagement ring consisting of an old European diamond set in a six-prong filagree style mounting crafted of 18-karat yellow gold.
ESP7353
Diamond specifications:
Color: H/I
Clarity: SI1
Weight: .45 Carat
I adored this ring but am now at the point where I''m ready to sell. I also have a wedding band that was made to go with it. Unfortunately I do not have a digital camera capable of producing a clear picture.
I was wondering if you could give me any recommendations on how to go about getting an appropriate amount of money when I sell, where to go, etc.
The entire ring and setting is the prettiest, most feminine and one of the most unique and beautiful rings I''ve ever seen. I am only selling because I am moving on to a new relationship and I''m ready to get rid of my skeletons.
Thanks for any help you can offer!
Sincerely,
Erin Matlack
