Alright, here are the finalists....all are concave cut pink tourmalines. Help me pick. Please!

I like the color on #9143 the best but ALL of them are nice looking stones.

Thanks! I just posted an admiration for your pink spinel on another thread. If you''re still looking for a bigger one, I know that Richard Homer has some that he just cut. They were too "hot" pink for my liking (because I like the lighter colors) but they were really beautiful all the same.

Thanks for letting me know. I'm not buying right now though because I have to finsih another project first.
Which tourmaline are you leaning towards? The other three are lighter. Or maybe it's just that they have less orange in them.

I''m not 100% positive, but I''m leaning towards the modified emerald cut one. To me it''s very unique and I really like the shade of pink. I''m not sure between the rounds, maybe 9143....or 9142...

Golly those are so pretty! The first one is even sort of light in color. I think the third ones my fav though.
Are you sure that first spinel wouldn't work for your ring? I can tell it's really sparkley. But the tourmalines are beautiful too of course.

I seriously considered it, but in the end I liked the shape of the emerald or the round better.

I think I like the square one best (I actually prefer the first pink spinel, but you already ruled that out right?)...but remember you''ll have to be very very careful with this ring. Tourmaline is pretty delicate for an everyday rest of your life ring...

Thank you all so much for your opinions/thoughts/suggestions.

I decided to go with the square/emerald cut because of the color and the unique shape. Now all I have to do is pick a setting for it...a topic for which I''m going to start a new thread soon for. I hope you all go to it and post your suggestions!
