The pavilion angles are too high on both of them. Let me have a look and see whats available.

Edit - What is your budget?

I don't like the #'s on either of them.

Let me look for you.

What type of setting does she want?

Thanks so much! Above is the setting she wants.

James Allen said they could size the setting for a larger diamond.

So that leaves you with 11k for the stone?

Yes, 11k for the stone. I was looking at the James Allen site because I know that is the setting she wants and I could not find it elsewhere.

Thank you so much for your help!

I'd buy this one:

As long as the wisps are not impacting performance too much.

You would have to ask the gemologist about that.

And that's the only one I found in budget above 1.8 worth your time. So put on hold ASAP (no cost, no obligation) before someone snatches it.

As it is so budget friendly, upgrade her setting to platinum if you get it.

That looks great! I will ask the gemologist about the performance.

Thanks again for your help!

Wisps are the clarity. ;))

But make sure to ask. It's a really pretty stone.

I just spoke with them, they said the stone is eye clear and the wisps do not effect clarity much at all.

I put the diamond on reserve with that setting in platinum. The savings are great with the 25% off the setting and this diamond is much cheaper.

Thank you again for all your help. I will definitely send you a picture when the ring comes!

I am happy it worked out. The stone is a nice one and since the setting is pave the platinum is a better choice of metal. Overall, it worked out great!
