Help me pick pink Tahitian pearl

Hi all, trying to decide between two Tahitian pink pearls (which one is more pink???)

First up, 9 mm, $250 ($450 to set 14k gold ring):


2nd choice, preassembled 14k ring, $650.

@icy_jade That was kind of my hunch too...I had a baroque pink Tahitian once that IMHO was waaay more pink than either of the above:


But wasn’t sure if it’s just harder to find a pink round Tahitian...

Hmm I do have a few pink ones in my wave strand so took a look at them. Do prefer the one with strong pink overtone (nearer the red arrow) vs the pink body color one (3rd from clasp).



I’m guessing that pink isn’t as common but should still be able to find a fairly pink one if that’s what you like.

@Lisa Loves Shiny many thanks for helping me look, I really appreciate it!

I actually love the top one. In fact, it’s the most pink round pearl I’ve seen so far (without any green overtones at the rim).

I’ll try to ask for more photos in non-light box conditions. It’s always hard to tell how much the color comes across in daily light conditions.

Your strand is so incredible, so colorful like a string of heavenly and luscious jewel toned pastel skittles!

I love those peacock earrings ...my favorite T. Pearl color and those very gold SS earring too...... Beautiful , beautiful earrings!

It’s my fav Tahitian color too. Feel very lucky to meet them and buy them. They have given me a lot of joy over the years
