I'm looking at this setting http://www.jamesallen.com/engagemen...-micropave-diamond-engagement-ring-item-50669.

I've got 3 diamonds on hold (they said they limit this to 24 hours), I requested Ideal Scopes on them but they said only 1 was in NY so they could not provide that for the other 2 (although she said they would try). The one that they will do the Ideal Scope on in NY said it'd take 3.5 days.
Can you give any insights/recommendations on them without that?

If they are on hold, please post the links. We can tell some things about them just from the video.

But from the numbers alone, #2 is the winner.

Sorry, was waiting to make sure they were marked as unavailable before posting the links.

Yes, thanks! #2 is best, then #3 (almost as good), and I don't like #1.

Thanks! Can you tell me what your looking at to make that decision so I understand?
Also still waiting to hear back about the ideal scopes, could that change your opinion or is it pretty sure even without those IS's?

Also should mention if there are better diamonds out there than these 3 let me know. Bigger is nice, but I don't really want to sacrifice quality, which is what kept me at the ~.8 mark. I'd like to to be good color, I don't want to be able to see the yellowish tint, fluorescence to a minimum as if we go cosmic bowling I don't want it glowing bright blue. Cut is very important, it's got to shine and be clean!! Basically that's what has kept me at those ones I found, but I'm no expert and if I should change anything for a better value without sacrificing visual quality then let me know. :D

#2. Nice proportions and image/video backs it up. also has nice symmetry/patterning. #3 isn't bad either but #2 is the best.

Thanks for the confirmations on # 2 everyone! I'm still waiting for the Ideal Scope's, the update they just gave me is that they were only going to be able to get it for the one in NY, which is #2 fortunately. I'll post that up once I have it, they are hoping tomorrow.

That's great that you can get the IS, but I'd buy that stone without one. It's a great stone.

Thanks for the assistance everyone! And thanks diamondseeker2006 for that last bit of confirmation. The inspection was going to hold up the process and I wouldn't have the ring for the weekend I'm planning on popping the question so I went ahead and just ordered it without the inspection.

Thanks again!
