Sorry to create a 3RD thread about my ering. My wedding band question is getting lost in the middle and I am taking Cehrabehra''''s suggestion to give it it''''s own thread.

I am ordering my wedding band to go with my eternity band e ring and need help! I have tried on many in stores and definitely want to get another eternity band, not a plain band.I will eventually get a 3rd band as well. My fiance and I both love the stacked look.

I had planned on getting 2 .75 carat 2mm shared prong eternity bands to wear on either side. But I saw Lauren the partier''''s stacks and thought the baguette eternity might provide nice contrast. I found a 2mm baguette bar set eternity band I like. Should I wear my eternity eband with a prong set round eternity band on either side, the baguette eternity on either side, or get one of each and have the baguette band in between my e ring band and another round? Confusing!

Here are the bands I am considering:

Hmmm I think I like the baguette band. I agree the contrast would be nice. I think unless you were close up two somewhat similar looking round brilliant eternity bands might just look like one big paved band. Can you post a picture of laurenthepartier''s stacks that gave you this idea?

There are several pictures of her stacks here. Here baguette band is only 1mm and mine would be 2, but it gives you an idea.

Tough call. No matter what shape stone you choose, I would recommend getting a channel set band so that you don''t have to wear a spacer between them. It might be tough to find a shared prong setting that won''t scratch with your current ring.

No for the shape...I really like the idea of a baguette band. I have a square-cut band, and it gives the clean lines of a plain band, but also has subtle sparkle. I think that would provide a nice contrast. I am a big fan of mixing shapes in a stack because it sets each piece apart from one another.

Would you still recommend a spacer with the bar set baguette band? I thought that would be okay.

I vote for the baguette bands sandwiching your e-ring! I think it will give it a nice contrast that way!

Question for EHR... from your avatar pic, your bottom shared prong band, who made that one? I love it! Do you find that it scratches the ring above it at all?

Lizzy, the setting is a stuller setting, and the diamonds are from my late mother-in-laws wedding band. I never wear it next to my solitaire to avoid scratching. I only wear it next to my plain band or my channel set band.
