They are all vintage Art Deco.

Thank you!!!

For me it's a tie between #1 and #2. #1 is a bit more modern, while #2 has a more antique-y feel to it. #3 is pretty and it'd be a great choice if you want something with more detailing. But it's also quite a departure from your existing setting.

Is there one that speaks to you more right now? The styles are pretty different, so maybe it means none of them are quite "it" for you?

I’m thinking #2
It’s speaking to me.
I like #1, first thought it was it. But it’s like other styles bought today.

#3- beautiful but a bit too blingy. And like you said, a far departure from what I have.

#2 is so different than any other Art Deco rings I’ve seen. They’re all more like #3. Makes it even more unique. But 8 prongs? I’ve never seen that before. I have a 1.5 and don’t know if it would overpower it.

So it’s come down to #1, or #2

So hard to decide.

I'd choose 2---it is pretty & slightly unusual, which I like.

Where my head’s at.

It’s 8 prongs. Never seen that before. Does that look ok? Would it overwhelm a 1.5?

Found three more:

From the vintage: #2
Those three?

Now trying to decide whether to go vintage or a new one like the latest 3

I vote for #2. I love the 8 prongs and I vote for petite tab prongs for your diamond. I had dainty claw prongs on a previous setting and it wasn’t practical for me! I would get fine strands caught. I also love seeing the dainty side diamonds on the profile! Nice choice!

#2 vintage?

Over the dvatche?

#2 vintage over the dvatche?

The claw prongs catch on everything. My hair, clothes, anything with threads. First got it was so bad the tops were rough. Took it back to get them smoothed. Ugg still didn’t work. I think it might have been why the prong bent.

Oops! Yes, let me clarify #2 vintage has my vote! (And yes over the dvatche)

dvatche made me second guess the #2 vintage.

Feel bad changing it. But, didn’t like it cause it snagged and those claw prongs are rough. I don’t like them at all.

when I aligned the image to match the proportions by using a quarter to get it right, it really made a difference in the perception of how it will look.

I’ve been researching the dahlia online. The image I posted was for a 3 carat stone OEC (gulp). Dwarfs my 1.5.

Every thing I read said it needs to be 2.5 carats or more to look right.

some have altered to 6 prongs and 5. SO. MUCH. METAL.

on a 1.5 the side prongs look thick.

and… I got the quote back for the design/custom ring – $3300

jeez. I could upgrade my diamond to a 2 carat for a little more than that!

And could come back looking like crap? Oy vey

I’m buying the vintage one tomorrow. 30 day return policy verses zero return on the custom.

take the Art Deco to a jeweler and see how a 1.5 looks in it. If it doesn’t look good, send it back, try again.

Of the original 3 choices, one is quite simple and 3 is the most elaborate. I feel like 2 is right in that sweet spot!
