my budget is around $14,800 and i have below requirement:-

1.35 to 1.5 ct
Color G or above
Clarity: VS2 or above (better be no black spot in the middle of diamond)
3ex none
Excellent cut (HCA score <2)

Hard to tell without the price difference and link to the stone images, but I love ACAs so in the absence of other information, I'll pick that one

My initial thought is to go with the less expensive ACA but the picture of the Expert Selection sure does look nice. I would call
WF, have them pull the two stones and talk you through them. What differences they see between the stone...which one draws their
eye, etc. They will be honest with you.

I agree with tyty that the ES does look nicer but that could just be the photography so asking them to pull the stones would be your best bet since they have the stones in house and can do a side by side comparison.

The G VS2 is a beautiful choice and a GREAT value!! But it does have a black crystal under the table, which you specifically said you don't want. WF has marked it as eye clean but will it be mind clean enough for you? WF has a great upgrade policy so even though it's a touch smaller than the other 2 stones, you could always take advantage of that policy in the future should you/she wish to go larger.

I could tell you that my first stone was a VS2 with a couple of black crystals under the table and I could only see them from the side (not from the top) and only at about 3-5 inches away.
