Your e-ring is amazing!!! I`d go for either one thin diamond band or one plain band. (Or you can get both and switch based on daily desire for extra sparkle - that's what I do

Thank you. I inherited it

Miss my grandma though! When I clean my ring I just think about how happy she'd be that someone is enjoying the stones

I'm glad I posted here, everyone has given me a lot to think about!!

.

I love this photo with your ring and the one plain band!! Stunning. Timeless. And the most flattering to your hand of all the combos.

Anyway..
SO. MUCH. BETTER! A thin diamond band would "work" also, IMHO. And I think a 2mm solid band would be even MORE flattering than this 2.3-.5 ish one.

When you''re wearing the wedding band only, you WILL be able to flank that with solid bands if you get a blingy wedding band -- or the converse, if you get a solid band you can flank that band with two thin eternity bands.

The wedding band doesn''t have to be a showstopper on its *own*. It can make friends ... *later*.

LOL I love it

Thanks for posting those last two photos. I definitely think one band is the way to go. I really like how the plain wb looks with it. I''d just go with one that''s thinner than that silver one.

chiquitapet had a great idea. You can get one of each (plain and eternity) and interchange them whenever you like.

ONE PLAIN BAND ONE PLAIN BAND ONE PLAIN BAND!!!

Perfect! Just perfect!

And then either now or later you can get a band like my dream half eternity from BGD to either stack with the plain band or to wear with the e-ring on blingy days (it has 5 pionters and is perfect for a little added bling).

I''m not loving either of those, to be honest.

Your three-stone is huge and a very busy, commanding piece! I think the diamond bands distract from it rather than enhance it.. I''d love to see a plain band, perhaps with one of the smaller eternities with the plain in between.

I think I agree with yssie.. and I almost always prefer two thin blingy bands.. but somehow it doesn''t show off your ring very well.

I, too, vote for the one plain band. It compliments your ering so well (which is gorgeous all on its own).

One plain band is absolutely gorgeous with your way-too-gorgeous 3 stone.

Another vote for a plain band! It looks perfect with your e-ring!

Just the one plain band makes your e-ring really POP! Wow!

If your not sure come back to these pictures in a few days and perhaps you''ll be able to see it more objectively.

Definitely one band!! The plain one looks so beautiful! Shows off your e-ring. Second choice is the one diamond band like your very first pic! Not a fan of the two bands with your e-ring.

1) FI loves everyone that said "plain band" He thinks I like diamonds too much... :)

2) I ALMOST won a gift card to a diamond store tonight (not a mall store, an actual place that sells nicer diamonds). They announced my name over the air and everything, but I didn''t win.

So sad. The funny thing is that I signed up for this contest last night (it runs all summer, almost every day) and a friend called saying they heard my name on the radio. I screamed! I was so excited. But.
7.gif
Didn''t win. LOL

so wait I don''t get it. They called your name but you didn''t really win? What the heck! That''s not fair!

Sorry, I didn''t want to give too much info out, but if a certain sporting event scored during a certain time frame, I won... but they didn''t... so..

lol

Sorry you didn''t win

I''m loving the plain band though!! Perfect. Only one tiny little thing - would you consider a lower-domed band, or a pipe cut, to better match the few mm of Ering shank that are visible from the top?

I know, I always thought I''d do a 5 stone band with .25 stones but it just seems to wash out the larger diamond.

That is exactly what I was going to say. The 5 stone band takes away from your e-ring. I''m usually not a fan of double wedding bands but I stinking LOVE how gorgeous they look with your ring! They really ENHANCE your e-ring which is what IMO wedding bands should do.

Here is a picture of two silver bands I have I think they are 2.3mm each (the tiffany elsa peretti ones).. If I did more than one band, each one would need to be 2mm or less..

Anyway, this picture just gives an idea..

I like this look too. I know it is an issue of personal preference but I really liked the balanced and even look of two bands.

Ditto this. The one plain band with your to-die-for ER is sheer perfection!

Gorgeous ring in general....I''m with those who think one skinny band, not 2.

When I was getting married I was like you and wanted diamonds on my WB the bigger the better! Just because I could. And I got a band like that and over time came to realize that it was too large and totally distracted from my e-ring.
I REALLY think this is the most common 'mistake' people make re: wedding rings. What percentage of folks go on to actively regret their decision -- unknown.
I think it is easy to get caught up in the bling and the excitement of choosing a wedding band. I know that I did. But the reality is that in most daily wear situations an eternity or semi-eternity diamond band is not practical, and if you want to wear the eb all the time it becomes very impractical. I actually never wear my original wb anymore
15.gif
and am considering a reset that will see me wearing it more. I wear plain gold bands or my more recent half eternity with *smaller* diamonds, something I did not really consider at the time.
Funny thing is I started with a plain band that I never wear now. I only wear my channel set half eternity. Even when I am out and about and don't have anything else on, I wear that one. So I think, honestly, this is very much a personal preference. As soon as I got my anniversary band, I never went back to no diamonds.

To the OP I am a stacking lover and I do like the look of the plain bands. I will say though, when you do it like that, it looks like one solid ring to me instead of three separate pieces.

I really like the single band though too. That I think is my favorite. You could always add on stacking if you have room later. I have short fingers and barely can do it, but have 1mm bands that I love doing it with to had a little extra shine.
