OK I have been in contact with a local jeweller who has put me onto 6 different stones.

If I get good feedback in the next couple of days I will make the call and choose one.

Can you all please provide some feedback. All feedback is appreciated.

#4 would be out of the running for me*; carbon inclusions against & under the table are a no no, in my world.

1-3 are overkill on clarity. 5 is overkill on color, unless you are color sensitive. The fact that you are considering “nearly colorless” color range diamonds tells me you’re not, so why pay for higher color?

Please let me introduce you to
WF 1.2IVS2:

AGS000 ACA Super-Ideal. ;)2

Perfect option if budget allows! I was using a $7100 budget based on the other stones.

This is closer to budget.

The jeweller told me their personal favorite was the 1.05 IF G (#3), I have placed each one on hold for the time being. The two on hold with James Allen I have requested the IS images.
#4 on first glance I am not sold on.

I think a H color will only be suitable if the cut is amazing, as I feel like I am quite color sensitive and will see the yellow tones coming through. I need to get in to a jeweller and see a triple ex G vs H in the flesh.

Unfortunately whiteflash is out of the running, unless it comes in under 11k with the setting.

The jeweler I am working with is able to get the james allen and blue nile diamonds cheaper than they have them advertised for online.

#3 a 60/60 style diamond. This will inherently return more white light than fire. Add that low crown angle and you have less fire. It may be brilliant, but its not a diamond I would suggest. You need to only consider with an IS or ASET.

What is your setting choice?

Yes...what is the setting choice, and cost of the setting?

@rockysalamander, we must be the early birds, this morning, and I’m hoping lurkers don’t snatch up my suggestion before OP makes a decision!
Great options, btw!!
I’m in agreement: XXX GIA can’t touch AGS000. Super-ideals do not show color as much as XXX do. AGS: CUT IS KING.

I disagree with your jeweler, and comparing GIA XXX color will not help you understand the difference between GIA XXX and AGS 000. You need a true comparison to understand that superbly cut diamonds HIDE color.

Simple solitaire setting, yellow gold band with white gold 6 prong. All in I am looking at 10k AUD, I will stretch this to 11k for something exceptional (all taxes etc).

AHHHHHH. That makes it clearer. Whew. Ok. so all in is $11500 AUD. You are color sensitive. If I understand @Bron357, you'll also pay 10% tax if you buy from the US.

I think my $7100 USD diamond budget was right on...see list above.

Have you seen GIA H color in person and the color was noticeable to you?

I just bought on eBay US yesterday, it was only 71 cents to $1 AUD.
The problem with exchange rates is what you get through PayPal, Visa or Amex is a lot less (their fees) than “quoted” rates. Grrrr.

I'd go with Whiteflash, period, because none of the stones your jeweler selected, I would buy.

But if you are going to buy from that jeweler, tell him you'll only consider a GIA Excellent cut stone within these parameters.

Table: 54-58
Depth: 60-62.3
Crown angle: 34-35.0
Pavilion angle: 40.6-40.9

So to confirm no one is keen on #6? I will ask for it to be taken off reserve

#6 is the best option you posted, and should stay in the running.
However, you can get better spread for your budget from WF, which is why I posted the WF 1.09 option.
The rest, I’d eliminate. Like DS2006 suggested, above: if you insist upon using your local jeweler, you must stay within ideal perimeters, as listed in her post. The majority of PSers will flock to WF in a heartbeat for a super ideal cut stone over a GIAXXX of lesser quality, any day.

So number 6 was my own choice before the jeweler sent through their options. I guess I will keep looking with the help of PS.

The comparison isn't working for me. I'll have to have a look when I get back on a PC
