Ok, I must admit, I''m a little ticked off at Leon. I mean, could the man make at least a couple ugly rings so the choices could be narrowed down just a little bit? I have taken almost a full year to try to decide,

and I have got to get this going by May 1, to be done by my July 12 anniversary. I am not sure if I am doing this right but I will show the choices:

1) 313 Ashley

2) Heidy

Then band choices: I need to have my eternity setting changed.

1)the shared prong custom

2) the matching 103 band

Here is my set now.

Can you post working links to the 2 choices?

Here are the pics:

Here''s the basket of the Ashley. It has the same band but without a halo

Here are the band. This could either be a entirely new band or made with my current .10 point stones. I will never wear one of the e-rings alone. I am a stacking girl at heart. Shh... don''t tell Leon. I will wear
a spacer band if I have to.

Here is the shared prong that I think I can safely wear with no damage. What do you think?

I voted for the Ashley. I like the head better. However, I am not a big halo fan so take that into account - I was biased from the start.

And I vote for the matching band. But again, that is just personal preference as I am not a big shared prong fan either.

What RaiKai said. I do like many halos, but in this case the head is busy enough without adding a halo to it. I also love that band.

Thanks RaiKai! I go back and forth. Leon''s halo''s are delicate, but I do love seeing all the stone. There is also about a $1000. difference between the two settings. If I decided to do both band rings that might
make a difference. I think both bands listed are about the same price but I don''t know if that includes the stones. I have .10 pointers, but the matching band 103, I think would be smaller.

Forgive me for not being able to do the linky thing. I am stretching my abilities with the poll. I am so lame at this. Frankly, I am not sure I would be able to post anything without reading Kenny''s post about the
Mac''s. I actually have cropped a few more photos but when I tried to post they were 104kb''s. Frustrating.

I appreciate all your help. This decision has awaken me in the night and I have brought my hubby to the computer to have him pic so many times he is sick of it! At least I have narrowed it this far!!!

Ashley- same reason as the 2 pp both are beuatiful- OI love the shared prong ring also.

The Heidy will be a "reena" ring, but instead of the cushion stone, it will be my round in a cushion shaped halo, with no airline. More like this one, but no OEC

Here is my ring change over the years. The black and gold band is my original band. Hubby has one to match. The yellow gold with the rubies is the second one purchased in l985-five years into marriage.
The rest are the recent ones. The pink and yellow and the five stone, and the eternity band are two years old and the solitaire was upgraded from 1.70 to 2.57 with Brian and received June 09.

The is my FINAL upgrade and reset. Say it with me now, no more resets, I promise...... I am surprised my hubby isn''t making me putting in writing!!!!

Another vote for the ashley! But I too am a bit biased I''m not inclined towards halos at least not for me but pretty much anything Leon does is gorgeous so you really can''t go wrong but the ashley makes my heart beat faster!

I can''t wait to see your finished set it''s gonna be droolicious!

I'm not too keen on halos so my vote goes for the Ashley, I adore the basket.

As for the band, that's a difficult one, I love both. I'm actually considering the 4-prong 10-point eternity for myself, and I keep going back to Leons website to look at it, but I'm also considering a 10-point pave set band with milgrained edges
20.gif
, so basically the same options that you have. But htis is a couple of years down the road for me. I really do love both, the milgrained one is more of a *ring*, whilst the 4-prong one is more of *diamonds*, eventhought the total weight of the rings are the same. Do I make any sense?

I thiiiiiink I'm kind of leaning towards the milgrained one with 10-pointers though. Atleast for today.

I feel like I can''t see what is going on well enough in either to pick one.

Here is Reena''s collage of the front of the Heidy. Again, my stone is round.

Here is the photo of the Ashley with a 4 ct brown diamond.

Hope this helps because I REALLY NEED SOME HELP!!!!!!!!!!

I am also biased because I an not a big fan of halos either. But my vote is for the "Ashley." I love clean lines around a stone, with the pave on the shank only. I am not at all sure what my vote is for the eternity band, because I think most of Leon's settings are made to fit so low to the finger that a WB might not look right

ETA: I really love your current setting!!

I voted for the Heidy. At one time I wasn''t a huge halo fan either but then I found and fell in love with the one I now own. I''ve always loved Reena''s ring!

My vote is the Ashley with the matching band. Like the others I like to see the stone, and Leon''s basket is just BEAUTIFUL without the halo. Also I am not really an shared prong girl. At least not when they are larger.

ASHLEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

with shared prong band.

But, I don''t care for halos on large stones and I like not quite matchy sets.

Thank you for posting those additional pictures! They are both quite beautiful.

I voted for Ashley. Those clean lines are amazing and I''ve always LOVED those double prongs. While Heidy might have double prongs as well, you can''t tell...

Not that it influenced my decision at all, but I am quite fond of the name "Ashley."

Ashely with matching band for my vote :)

Me too! Your choices are fabulous! They will be beautiful whatever you choose. I just love the classic look of the stone on its own! Lucky you, I wish I had your dilemma!!!

Ashley with matching band. If you''re diamond were smaller I would have said heidi. But your diamond is HUGE so my vote is no halo!

Thank you for all your replies! I am really surprised! Reena''s ring is so well loved here at PS, I thought for sure that would be the pick. When I first saw Reena''s ring my heart skipped a beat. I had never
thought of a halo before coming to PS, but I could never get that ring off my mind. I am not as fond of the round halo''s but when I see some of Leon''s on ps''ers hands I think they are stunning.

A halo would, I am sure free me from future DSS. But I have really enjoyed seeing the side view of the stone. One of the reasons I don''t like my current semi-bezel is that the sides of the stone are completely
covered up. I would like it to be a little more exposed. I wonder, even though I have loved the Heidy since first seeing it, if I would be unhappy not seeing all the stone.

I have never had a had time making a decision before. Usually, there is some factor that stands out for me. Either the price difference does not equal the value, or a quality issue or something. Plus, with
most stuff I buy, I know eventually it will have to be replaced. A anniversary or engagement ring is a long term purchase. I want it to be THE ONE, like my hubby!

I am leaning toward the Ashley. Not sure about the band situation yet. A part of me wants to just go for both. We have spent a ton of money on these rings, part of me thinks it is absolutely ridiculous to
spend even more. UGGGH! I sent Leon a quote request for both rings so maybe that will decide it for me.

Thank you so much for all your replies! Keep them coming! I get more confident reading them. I haven''t even been able to get my family to give me feedback! I hear, I like what you have, even from my
daughter, who will eventually, get this ring. She has a very tiny finger though! The boys are pretty useless until they see something in person!
