I bought this Brazilian Emerald 3lb bag off of ebay a few years ago.
It is uncut, been thru the tumbler. here are measurements of it.
weighs 21.7 grams
Length 5 inches
Octagon shape
3 inches around. If I could figure out how to up load a couple more pics I will

How do I figure out the carret weight?

The ct weight is 5 x the gram weight.

It looks to be a very low grade emerald.

does 108.5 carats sound about right or am I way off?
it is one the light green side.
So in other words your saying if I loose it no big loss lol? (which I did for 3 years)
I have had it for years and now finally trying to figure it out.

Looks low grade emerald to me. I bought a bag of 250 cts of those for the kids to tumble a few weeks ago. Most of them looked like that. Its a cool coversation piece though!

Yup, it’s non-facetable material and just something to play around with. Despite the size, because of its matrix, it’s not worth much.

Ok so for carat weight I multi ply 5 x 21.7 grams

total carat is 108.5 carats

Is this correct?
