a few months ago i saw a ring posted by a PS member which was a center stone with baguettes either side, then, i think, a few pave set stones either side of that, then engraving beyond that around the band. i meant to take a screen shot of it, but forgot and am now kicking myself.

does this ring a bell with anyone? it was a new ring, but an antique style and was a style offered by a specific company (as opposed to a custom made ring).

if anyone knows which ring this is, pls let me know? i think someone showed something similar by white flash recently, but it was NOT that ring (just to eliminate one company.)

and i could be wrong about the baguettes! it *may* just have been the center stone with pave either side then engraving, but i dont think so. i think it was: center stone, tapered baguettes, pave, then engraving. (maybe center stone, baguettes, then engraving - no pave? ugh! sorry!)

any help would be wonderful and i know that some of you are wizards at pulling this sort of stuff out of the recesses of the PS vaults!

anyone? any thoughts?

ooh I'm so sorry Whitby, but I'm not sure, have you tried looking through the eye candy folder a few pages back? or was this a ring that another PS on behalf of someone else?

ETA: and it wasn't one of the rings from Knox was it maybe?

just throwing it out there whitby...

What shape was the center?

Or maybe it was a Viachi design?

Viachi?

What shape was the center?
geckodani - it was a RB center. i''m absolutely kicking myself at this point that i didnt take a screen shot. i''m going to trawl the eye candy folder and see if i find anything.

HopeDream - it was much more delicate than that - thinner shank, for example.

the knox jewelry ring is closest but not quite there.

thank you for helping me! it''s going ot send me mental if i cant find it...

Ok. I went back through the eye candy folder. Try these:

Pg. 168 post half way down by avnmoom.... (Sorry, no linky)

Link 2

BTW- I started on pg 167, which was dated sometime in May. If it was before May, you will want to start a little further back in the folder. Hope this helps!

Was it this by chance?

miscka - that probably comes closest (and what a gorgeous ring it is, too!!) - but i was sure it had long, tapered baguettes either side of the RB central stone. the baguettes were either as well as or instead of the pave set melee. i'm starting to think it was instead of.

and i'm back to page 150 on the eye candy folder - and nuthin' so far....

i want to get leon to make this 'ring in my head' - and this picture was perfect. i felt like, if i had it in hand, i could have walked in, handed it to him, and said 'here - do this...' so far i'm just short one picture!

i have a beautiful, round stone, very clean, lots of sparkle and contrast, 1.12ct, around a J/K color. i want to set it with a yellow gold shank to go with my remade wedding ring (plain flat ring, milgrain edge). i think engraved yellow gold looks awesome, and with this stone with its slight golden shimmer, it would be a real heirloom piece.

ETA and thanks for helping, gecko - love seeing you drop by and always grateful for your help. :)

yay!
