I found this picture on a wedding blog a while back but there was no link to where it was from. Has anyone seen it, or one similar? I keep coming back to it and I just love the look.
Ooh, thank you! I like the one from antiqueengagementrings.com. I tried searching the forums to see if anyone has had experience with this vendor... do you know of anyone who has?
That one is amazing. But 4k! Yikes! I also discovered that Leon himself makes a similar one, I wonder how much it would run? http://www.artofplatinum.com/4images/details.php?image_id=296
Yeah, I like the Kwiat but I think I would prefer that the bands be a little closer-knit, so the width wouldn''t be as substantial. I also like how the Leon has a bit more texture to it, and doesn''t look as...flat? as the Leigh Jay Naught?
How do you think a band like these would look with a BGD Grace? I would have it semi-custom though... with split prongs, a 14k rose gold shank, and pave stones set into the circle of the basket (right under the belly of the stone, what is that called?
I love those intertwined pave rings!! That Leon one is especially gorgeous.
As far as how it would look with the Grace setting, I think it would give a great non-matchy look. However there was a recent thread in RT about how low the Grace setting is on the finger. I am not sure if this detail would affect how that band looks with the setting.
Yeah, I do tend to like things a little "non-matchy." Plus, the band would stand alone substantially if I were to go without my e-ring on occasion. I did see that thread, and it kind of surprised me. I had not thought of the Grace being low-set at all before that. What I envision happening with a twisted band next to it, is the "donut" of the grace sitting itself conveniently into one of the little divots of the band, so that it would look like it sat flush, in a way. Could you see that working?
Anyone have any guesses as to how much I could expect to pay for the Leon piece? It''s a "two-star" on his pricing gauge..
Wow! The 3 strand and the Leon are amazing! They have a little more delicate look to them then the others but yet the pave seems more substantial if that makes sense? less metal I think. Anyway that style is great!
Ooh thanks, Charmy! Darn, I was hoping it would be a little less, but I guess if you think about it, it''s TWO eternity bands in one. Any experience with Kwiat? I heard that they are a Nordstrom brand... so I''m thinking it might be marked up quite a bit.
Good point, @Lcom. I think having less metal showing is what I like. I found another that is a good illustration of what I''m looking for, except it isn''t an eternity band. I can''t seem to pull the image off the site, but here''s the link: (the band that goes with the e-ring)

I like that it''s woven a little closer together. Does Verragio do custom work? Could they make that into an eternity?
Sholdt makes a version - there are actually quite a few places who have a variation on this. I really love it myself. In fact I''m using this as inspiration on a future custom project - you have great taste!!
