I am in the market for a 3.0 ct diamond (cushion or round) and instead of going to HW, Tiffany, and the others and paying full retail, I want to buy a loose diamond and have it set into a custom setting. But the problem with the $2000 settings is they are not as asthetically pleasing as one you might find at harry winston and the others. So I dont want to buy a machine made or a poorly made setting, i want to spend top dollar and get a truly wonderful piece.
There isnt much talk on where to get incredible custom settings. I am in southern california. is there a place around here with a master craftsman? where do people go to get this type of a service? looking for the best of the best! please help!
