i am looking for a nice rounddiamond for this mount by May 2014
the prices at costco have gone up alot since i last shopped there 10 years ago
looking for a
.9 to 1.05 ct
VS2 or beter
H or beter ... F would be great.



I am a Watch Idiot Savant and know how so shop for them but Diamond shopping is not my skill.

OP, what is more important to you? Larger size with okay optics, or smaller size with superior optics? With the criteria you listed and the budget you have, it's gonna be one or the other, but probably not both. It's okay if you don't care to have the absolute best optical performance, but understand that this is PS, and that's what the consensus will value over size, color, or clarity (assuming eye clean enough for the buyer). Usually, it's cut>size>clarity>color for the average PSer, but CUT will always reign supreme here at PS. ;))

As I mentioned in your other thread, if you want closer to the 1 ct mark, then you will need to seek out an eye clean SI in a bit lower color. An I color will look very white in a 1 ct stone.

The stone Neil found looks good. :))
