Looking to purchase a single stone and pop it into a simple solitaire setting. My budget is in the 4-6k range including the setting. Help me find something amazing!

Carats - Bigger is better
Cut - Excellent+
Clarity - Eye Clean
Color - Little to no yellow

Based on this, you sure can get a magic 1.0 carat with ideal cut and optics, for example, whiteflash ACA/expert selection and Good Old Gold Platinum selection. Also look at good old golds ascendency line (if you are ok with slightly smaller carat weight) I will start looking at these stones, study how to interpret various images, reports and proportions. Check out good old golds youtube channel. They have some amazing videos. This should give you some idea what makes a stone ideal. Based on your reseach, you can find a bargain from James Allen or Blue Nile, or stick with signature lines from whiteflash or good old gold, brian gavin for guaranteed quality and amazing warranty.

As you search for the perfect balance of all elements of your diamond there are some issues to consider. Are you looking for a round diamond or a different shape? The relative importance of the 4C's can change based on the shape of the diamond.

You requirements have me scratching my head. Too much leeway there.

Pleas prioritize your list above. And let me know what you consider "yellow". For some that means K or better. For some it means I or better. You need to tell us what you mean.

Personally. I'd for a nice GIA Ex/Ex J or better with your budget at 1.2 carats or more.

If you get one of the above stones. I'd get one of these solitaires. Please don't buy just any old solitaire. The setting is as important as the diamond.

6 prong:
