This setting can fit a 4.5 to 4.95 diameter stone. It is going on my Christmas list for the husband so I also need to have a list of stones that could fit it from Ritani to make it easy for him if he decides to get it. Looking to have like 5 options.

Cut is number one and then after that price is the main concern. Eye clean for sure but I don’t much care about color.

Thank you!

Some of the Ritani report links are going to the wrong reports, so I've linked the reports as well.

Thank you!

This is really pretty! Can’t wait to see it! =)2

This is a great project! I’ve admired that setting before. The diamonds Kim picked out are beautiful! What fun to have this waiting under your tree!

Well we will see if he gets it. He notoriously asks for an idea and then doesn’t get any of the things I put on the list. So I might end up with some electronic thing he likes instead. But if he doesn’t get it it will be on my list to buy myself sometime next year. :)

Hopefully he gets you the diamond for that beautiful setting!

To better my chances of some Christmas bling (and not a new computer which while useful is not as fun) anyone have any diamond options with lower color? Most of my stones are G. Open all the way down to I color.

:D

It's gorgeous setting but please favour colour too as rubies are just like red lipstick and will make teeth look yellow. I'd choose a reasonably white stone. I'm guessing you meant down to J, but a K-M would definitely look yellow in that setting I feel.

Oops - You just answered my question. I think an I or J will look good against the rubies.

Found some more for you to take a look at:

Yayyyyy!!!

Oh that looks gorgeous!

So he procrastinated as most men do when it comes to Christmas and wasn’t able to get any of the stones I suggested from this thread but the ring was created in time for Christmas (close there but made it) and it’s pretty. I love it.

Couple notes- despite all their advertising about next day shipping, anything under $500 they don’t do that and my husband was not made aware of that until after they shipped it regular usps mail. That cut it close to being able to get it set in time. Maybe Ritani should make that clear on their site. All stones delivery times are based on that next day shipping but that’s not actually the case for smaller $ purchases. Just something to keep in mind if you are shopping with Ritani.

I don’t have the grading cert from him yet so I doubt this is a top performer because he likely just went with whatever Ritani called ideal but I’m fine with it. It’s sparkly and pretty and I love the setting.

Yay for Christmas bling!
