Alright so I have been looking around for a while, and I am just really confused about it all to be honest. My girlfriend of 4.5 years says she like "antique style" rings and recently has told me she just really wants a round cut center stone with "tiny diamonds around it." My budget is between $5-10 thousand. If anyone knows of rings that would fit this criteria that they really like and could post them that would be great. I live in CT so any recommendations of where to look around here would be great as well. Thanks

Personally, I''ve only dealt with Jewels by Erica Grace (JBEG), and would highly recommend them. They are just awesome to work with! They deal with true antique diamonds/rings, and I believe they could help you if that''s what your gf wanted. I also know a lot of PS''rs here have gone to Good Old Gold, and are very happy with them as well as Brian Gavin Diamonds. Good Old Gold actually have newly cut "antique style" diamonds labled as August Vintage Cushion and I believe August Vintage OEC. I''ll try to insert links to them, but I haven''t had much success with it yet. LOL Good luck on your search!

I second Jewels By Erica Grace, everything I have read about them here is the tops!

She wants a halo. Want a recommendation? Or five?

(Prices and other items from the Beverley K line can be found here: http://www.pearlmansjewelers.com/jewelry-designers/beverley-k-jewelry/rings/104PP1/ )

Other diamonds to consider are: ANything from GOG they are in Long Island NY and will spend a ton of time with you to help you find the right stone. http://www.goodoldgold.com/diamond/5633/

I second Gypsy's and Sparkly's recc's!!! I think an August vintage diamond from GOG in the last Beverly K setting that Gypsy posted would look AMAZING!!!!!

Good luck, and make sure to come back with pics!!!
