Hi, I would love the help of the forum, I'm so bummed out from my own experience trying to find a lab grown oval. I just returned my ring because the bow tie was a lot stronger than I thought it was before it was set. The jeweler who sold it to me promised it had minimal bow tie and I didn't notice anything wrong until it was set. The bow tie was super obvious and even my friend's wife who has an oval thought it was moderate to severe.
Any help in finding a new lab grown oval online with minimal bow tie? I know it's almost impossible to get one without one at all, but the one I have is such a dark scar across the diamond. I don't trust anyone right now, even my own eyes! I've looked at James Allen, Brilliant Earth, and so on and I don't even know what will show up as a bow tie or not. I would really appreciate the community's help!!
I'm looking for:
Carat: 1.1-1.6
Color: G or higher
Clarity: VS2 or higher
Cut: Excellent - very good polish/symmetry
L/W ratio: 1.38-1.45
Budget around 8k.
