Hi PSers! :wavey:

I have $1000 of Blue Nile credit that I have to use in a couple of days! Can you help me find something awesome just in time for my birthday next month?

I want something classic and will have the biggest bang for my buck! I like diamonds. ;-)

This seven stone band is pretty but I don't know if it would overwhelm a 1.8mm e-ring on a size 4.5-5 finger.

These morganite rings are gorgeous! I love the videos! :kiss2:

Thanks!

What type of pieces do you have in your collection already? Which kinds of pieces would you like to add besides:
1. the 7 stone band
2. the morganite rings.

Do you have studs? Granted $1000 is tight for studs but not for a small pair you might be able to upgrade in future. Same with a pendant. A single larger stone for a right hand ring is an idea. Maybe a different shape other than round.

I think that the seven stone will look great with your ring! 7pt each will be awesome with a 1.6ct soli!

I'm not really into pendants or bracelets at the moment and gravitate more towards rings I can wear with my solitaire or maybe some earrings.

I have 1 ctw studs. Not much room to upgrade those with $1000 unless I want to upgrade one stone by a hair.

When I'm not wearing my studs, I opt for simple pearls.

My girls' birthstones are sapphires and diamonds so there is some sentimental value in wearing those stones.

Hi, Simone! :wavey:

I've always liked BN's Luna line. Do you think the stones would wrap all the way around or leave visible space on the finger?

I forgot: I have a rose gold round bezel .4 solitaire necklace. At one point I wanted to get another rose gold solitaire necklace of a different shape to layer. BN has these diamond bezel necklaces in different metals and shapes.

I think that they will be just perfect on your finger. I have an old photo of a seven stone 7pt each band with my old cushion. Bear in mind that my ring size is 5.5, so the diamonds will go further down for you. 7pt is my fave size because the band looks great alone and with an e-ring.

I like the luna 7 stone & no way would it over power your diamond. Looks like it has a nice curvature to it as well. There is always the smaller version with more stones if you think the 7 stone would be too wide. It's a bit less in diamond weight but still thick enough at 2.1mm that it wouldn't add too much bulk to your finger.

That's a perfect picture! I thought about asking someone to show a 7 pointer band but thought it would be too specific! What size is that soli? Looks gorgeous on you.

The thinner one is pretty but for the credit I'd sooner go for the 7 stone. Go big or go home.

Ha! Glad I can be of help :D the soli was a 1.5ct cushion, I did love it and miss it sometimes.

I like the 2nd pair of dangles better than the halo'd style. But I absolutely think the necklace is darling & would have a nice presence on your neck. All the stones are bezel set so they have a more casual look to them. Definitely daily wear. Would certainly reflect your kids birthdays. I suppose it boils down to what you want most. I hate that part. LOL

The luna would be a different metal from the rose gold soli so it would be a mixed metals look... unless I opted for a white metal setting for my upgrade. :rodent:

I don’t see that as a problem; a white metal is a classic look for a traditional 7 stone band. At the same time, I think that it will look great next to rose gold, I love mixing metals. And true - you can always change your solitaire to wg/plat with your upgrade!

@TweetyBird23 I knew I had one pic in my archives for inspiration/comparison, I found it lol

Drooling.

BN is always spamming me with sales and I knew I could find a coupon code. Found one for 10% so the Luna would be $1280-128= $1152.

That's so pretty. I like how she threw in a thin yellow spacer cable ring and rocked a tricolor set.

Do you know if I would need or should wear a spacer with a 7 stone? I never understood the need for a spacer since all the bands I've tried *knock on wood* have sat flush with my soli. Although I actually like the finger gap between two rings.

It will depend on where the band meets your e-ring, but for short term wear, I would say it is okay without a spacer even if the band is hitting the prongs. With time, the band might start eating away at the prongs, which is why many wear spacers. I do like the cable spacer as well. For affordable spacers you can look at e-weddingbands, they also run sales frequently.

Checking out their inventory. Thanks!

Lol. My bad, I thought I was on the morganite board.

The morganite is also on sale pre-owned in my size on eBay for $450 if I MUST have it.

And I think it’s heat treated, if that matters.
