Here''s the deal. I just bought my wife a 15th anniversary Hearts on Fire (HOF), 5 stone ring, with the understanding that we could get our money back if we found something else she likes. She has her heart set on a 5 stone ring, with a bigger one (maybe around .75) in the center, .20s on the sides. She likes the HOF Dream (square) cut. We have one on order. Then we found Fred C.''s website, which gave us pause about the HOF overpricing.
Now I''ve found this GREAT website, which, after doing a search about Fred C., has given me pause about dealing with him.
Bottom line. Where can I find someone trustworthy, who has a selection of 5 stone settings, and some square cut diamonds (maybe radiant?) to go in it, who will not charge me HOF markup prices. We were really impressed by the brilliance and fire of the HOF rings we saw, so want to stay with super ideal cut diamonds (read knock your socks off beautiful). With the money we save by not buying HOF, we might be able to get some earings too!
