I am hoping that all the wonderful, artistic people here will be able to chime in with some design ideas!

I saw the following band once and fell in love - it's extremely delicate in real life and I love the understated floral/vine-like feel to it. There's an engagement ring designed to go with it, but I'm not a fan - it's too busy and, in my opinion, pushes the floral theme a little too far (Adonis Rose by DeBeers).

I'm looking to buy a ~1.3 ct August Vintage Cushion center stone with square proportions (close to 1:1 l:w ratio). I'm picturing a warmer stone, with a rose gold setting. I'm not a fan of side stones or halos (but love diamonds anywhere else you can fit them!). I'm looking for something delicate but unique!

My problem is I have no idea how to marry this band with a great setting for that stone. This is my first time posting, and I'm hoping that the minds behind the gorgeous rings I've seen here over the years will be able to help out (I didn't realize posting this would make me so nervous!). Any and all ideas would be welcome!

What about a simple solitaire setting? Something like Haven's amazing engagement ring - an incredibly beautiful design that still allows the diamond to shine. It might be worth wearing a thin spacer band between the two rings so they sit more flush, but of course that's a matter of opinion! The band you chose is really beautiful!!!

Haven's ring would go perfect w/that band.

Thank you so much DandiAndi and Skippy - Haven's ring is GORGEOUS! I have never been so drawn to a solitaire (at least without any pave detailing on the sides). I recently stumbled upon this ring (Gabbie by Jewels by Erica Grace) and think the basket detailing is lovely and sort of fits with the band - maybe I could somehow combine this and Haven's design? Do you think extra pave would compete with the band?

If anyone else has ideas, please please post. I would love to hear them! So grateful for anyone's help!

I really like the Gabbi setting with the pave added in. I think with a nice slender shank it would blend well with your chosen band. Good luck!
