I have a budget of around $6,000 for a diamond. Here are my options:

1) GIA 1.25 c, 7.02 x 7.07 x 4.18, Depth: 59.3, Table: 56, VS1, G, Cost: $7300.

2) GIA 1.13 c, 6.71 x 6.74 x 4.14, Depth: 61.6, Table: 58, VS1, H, Cost: $5750.

3) GIA 1.13 c, 6.88 x 6.92 x 3.95, Depth: 57.2, Table: 60, VS2, H, Cost: $5500.

I am really intrigued by (1) .. should I blow the budget?

#1 might also be a better cut stone...

do you data on polish and symmetry, girdle?

Have you seen them? Which one did you like? Do you see a diiference between G and H color?

I also feel #1 looks better than the other 2. More info would be helpful. You might ask the vendor for Sarin so you can crunch the HCA.

Regarding your budget concerns..... Two major factors come into play on the price jump of #1 over the other 2. There is a price premium for G color over H color. And, there is a price premium for hitting the 1.25 carat mark. Of course, VS1 will fetch more than VS2, but you have a side by side comparison on that value in #2 and #3. Just some info for you to ponder and consider in your decision process.
