Help me decide

I'm torn between buying one of the following in celebration of an upcoming birthday. I have around 2k to spend. Would you ladies be so kind as to help me decide?

My jewelry wardrobe currently consists of a bezel solitaire with a 1.3 ACA, that I wear with a plain gold band. I have a couple of gold bands for my right hand, and a pair of plain gold studs. I'm happy with my solitaire, I'd like to upgrade it in a few years to a 2ct and that's probably as big as I'll ever go, and maybe put it in a VC halo.

I'm considering:

1. A Victor Canera shallow u-cut pavè band to stack with my e-ring. I've tried on a couple of thin pavè bands before and they look great with my ring. https://www.victorcanera.com/rings/bands/u-cut-shallow-type-single-cut-pave-eternity-band

2. A pair of .80tcw studs. I love diamond studs, but not sure if I'd enjoy them as much, since I won't get to see them. I do think they brighten the face as we get a bit older. However, I do have long, dark brown hair and this size (.40 each) might get lost.

3. A bezeled solitaire pendant around .40.

4. Save it for a bigger eternity with .10 or .13 stones

5. Save it to upgrade my solitaire to 2 Ct eventually. But it would take me a long long time to save for the upgrade and the setting that I think I want, a VC setting. And I'd still have very little other jewelry in the mean time.

Your thoughts on this are welcome and appreciated. I don't have a lot of jewelry and I'm trying to build up a jewelry wardrobe. Which one of these would be the most essential, have the most impact, be worn the most?

If it were me, I'd get the studs- mine get worn every single day and I get lots of comments on them. My second choice would be the band ring!

+1 for the studs! I love mine. I wear them daily. Very classy.

Studs! Make sure with good upgrade options.

I'd choose the studs too... I also have long dark hair and I find the seriously brighten up the face! I wear mine every day- all the other earrings I own have been neglected ever since I bought my pair!

I consider diamond studs to be a basic jewelry item. Getting some with a good upgrade policy would be a bonus. :)

It's hard to say without knowing your lifestyle, so I would say get the item that you've been coveting the longest, preferably with an upgrade policy. ;)

Thank you so much for taking the time to respond, ladies.

DH and I visited a couple of stores this weekend. I tried on some studs and both DH and the sales associate encouraged me to choose something else. They said that they were hard to notice with my hair and I have to admit they have a point. I wear my hair down 99% of the time and have a lot of hair that falls around my face. Another point DH made is that I've lost studs on two occasions. Granted, they didn't have backings that were ultra-secure, but he does have a point.

I think I've narrowed it down to the eternity band, a bezel pendant, or an ultra-thin bangle like the WF shared prong bangle. I tried on a bezeled .57 Ct at Tiffany and it was oh-so pretty and delicate.

Thank you for your comment. That is a great way to think about priorities, and if I were to focus on the piece I've coveted the longest I'd choose the eternity band. Discovering pricescope is a blessing and a curse. It's easy to get sidetracked or pulled into a different style when you see so many pretty baubles.
