Hey,

I''m narrowing in on a choice of diamond. Here are the two I''m looking at right now. Please vote, and explain any concerns to me below, I''m an absolute beginner when it comes to these reports, though the little reading I''ve done has led me to lean toward Diamond #2. I have no idea how to guess at the inclusions though, especially when viewed through the pavillion.

I need to choose one of these to be sent to me to look at in person, or else pass them up for a stone not listed yet...

If you need more information please let me know.

THANKS A TON!! I really appreciate all of the help you guys have given me so far!!

Diamond #2
I''d be more inclined to pick #2 because the inclusions are not in the table and VS2 clouds are probably not visible by eye.
I would ask Brian if either are eye clean and tell him what distance away and at what angle (above, to the side) you want to be able to be the diamond is eye clean.

Both are beautiful diamonds.

Thanks, that''s very helpful.

Inclusions impact on the visual aspect of the diamond is a total mystery to me (besides the eye clean face up aspect).

Just out of curiosity, is it possible for eye-clean inclusions say at the SI1 (Or even the VS) level to cause a drop in brightness/fire/other visual aspects of the diamond?

Not necessary, depends on the extent and severity of the inclusions in question.

These diamonds are both top notch and with VS clarity highly probable both are eyeclean - check with Brian or Lesley to be certain. It is theoretically possible inclusions could interfere with the passage of light however with these types of diamonds it is very unlikely even if so that this would be visible to the naked eye and probably only sophisticated measuring equipment could pick it up anyway.

All of you are great... I love the advice and quick responses.

Any final votes before I talk to Brian and Lesley today?

Thanks again!

Either will be stunning! too bad you can''t see these puppies via video even though bot cuts are superb, the personality might differ slightly

but just my thoughts though.

They are both beautiful but I picked #2 because of the slight inclusion in the middle of #1 and because # 2 is just slightly bigger.
