Help me decide between two Halos I've purchased!

Thank you soooooo much for the advice along the way. I've got two halos and CANNOT decide which one I like better. Which one is a better halo? Which one looks bigger to you?

I prefer the one in the red box. I'm not sure why - it's just more visually pleasing to me I guess. The other one has more "scalloped" edges around the halo and that's not my personal preference.

Firstly, can I say they both look beautiful so you are not going to make a terrible mistake either way.

I very slightly prefer the one in the black box - because it is more unique. The one in the red box is fabulous but quite popular (for good reason!) so I feel I see that style a lot.

Red box.

Bc of the structure of the halo. The outer edges are more even. Rounded diamond edges of the melee do not protrude. I see the outine of the center stone a little bit better. It's very much based on my preference for a style of the halo.

I think this will come down to personal preference. I bet the votes will be near 50/50.

For me, I like the ring in the black box because the halo appears more scalloped, I believe that's how a prior poster described it. Sometimes, IMHO, halos that have that perfect smooth look on the outside can blend into the center stone to make it look like a larger stone - and there's nothing wrong with that and that's a beautiful design. But I personally like halos that look decorative, like that slight rounded scalloped appearance - so the halo is more a part of the setting than the stone. I probably make no sense but the ring in the black box really caught my eye.

I think the one in the black box is more romantic bc of the scalloped edges. The other one seems more streamlined and modern. One thing to consider is the band that would accompany it. I didn't vote yet bc I'm torn. I always thought I preferred the streamlined lookore until recently. I've been gravitating to the scalloped look. My friend just got a halo with this look and it really caught my eye. I think I'm ready to vote now!
ETA: I want to add that I really like the black box bc the diamonds look a little more separated and to me, that lets me appreciate the roundness of each individual melee. But it's still dainty enough to not overwhelm. Also, it has the feel of a customized look vs the halo that seems really common. But why don't you share what you prefer about each one?

Oh, good, I am glad you were able to post the pictures! I think it is hard to give you a meaningful opinion because we can't really see a close up of the quality of the settings. I guess I lean toward the one in the red box, but again, without seeing macro shots, we can't be sure which is the best quality.

Yes. I could on my phone. And I was able to magnify it too. Which is why I chose the one I did (in the red box).

They are both beautiful. but I lean towards the red box based on your pictures. Could you post a closer up picture of each as well as a profile picture of each?

I think to sum up the looks: black box ring is vintage/antique, romantic and unusual; red box is modern, sleek, popular/on trend.
