Hello,

First time posting. I'm purchasing an engagement ring for my SO, and after scouring through all the websites and guides, I've narrowed it down to these two from White Flash. I originally wanted a 1.5 carat G color VS1, but couldn't find one that had a sub 2.0 HCA score. I lowered the carat weight, and found these two that fell under the 2.0 HCA score.

The first was the one I planned on getting. SO said her mother said get at least a VS1, so the following specs are:

1.32 carats
G color
VS1 clarity
Round
$11,370.00

HCA:
Factor Grade
Light Return Very Good
Fire Excellent
Scintillation Very Good
Spread Very Good
Total Visual Performance 1.8 - Excellent within FIC range

The second is one I stumbled on playing with different filters. It's an A Cut Above diamond, so it's a little pricier, slightly bigger, but only a VS2:

1.332 carats
G color
VS2 clarity
Round
$11,753.00

HCA:
Factor Grade
Light Return Excellent
Fire Excellent
Scintillation Excellent
Spread Very Good
Total Visual Performance 1.4 - Excellent within TIC range

Do I settle on the GIA excellent cut one to satisfy my SO's only requirement of VS1, or will the second one be much better for not much more? Thanks!

I'd stick with Whiteflash in house diamonds, they have a great upgrade policy for those stones and the ACA line is of superideal cut stones i.e. fantastic performers! I'm not sure why you need VS1, most VS2s will be eye clean?

I can't see the 1.332ct on the inventory.

Here are a handful more to choose from:

Thank you for your suggestions! But I'm just looking at the two I posted. They aren't available because I had them reserved for me. Here are the links.

From the two I posted, do you think it's worth going with the VS2 A Cut Above diamond over the VS1 diamond?

I would stick to the in-house ACA...it is already vetted for IDEAL light return hence the AGS000 grading. ACAs go above that though
and are vetted for H&A and the Asets/Ideal scopes must fall within strick guidelines to be designated an ACA.

The pictures show how beautiful the cut is and all the images are about as good as it gets!

Thank you! I spoke to WF's CS regarding the diamond and I think I'm sold on it.
