Hello everyone. I'm trying to decide between a 2 or 3 carat total weight for a five stone ring. Would the .60 pointers be noticeably bigger in size from the .40 pointers or just very slightly? Trying it on beforehand is not an option. Also, I wear a size 7.
However, we have had PSers order large 5 stones and have gotten rid of them or had them reset because they were
too uncomfortable. The larger stones bugged the fingers next to them. Whatever you do with these side stones you
probably want to have them set as low as possible to keep them comfortable.
Have you seen this thread...You can see what some of the different size stone look like in a 5 stone. I dont think I would go
over .5 stones at max.
I was going to say the same thing as tyty, 60 pointers, unless this is on a large finger, sounds uncomfortable.
For more of a "look" though you could go with a graduated 5 stone. I have one and sense the stones closest to the finger are smaller, its very comfortable.
Thank you both so much for your help. The setting is actually very low. Another option is a .40 pointer princess cut five stone, but I know they face up much smaller. I wonder in a five stone ring if that would be the case. This is for my right hand.
