Hi,

I need help to compare following diamond...
Long story..
I went to a local diamond shop and bought a diamond ring
This is the report the one I choice ref (h54340)

http://www.adgl.com.au/certificate-checking.php?numCertificate=h54340&submit.x=28&submit.y=24&submit=submit

A week later I got a phone call said the ring was damage during resize. they need to replace the other ring with the other diamond for me
here is the new diamond report (h45965)

http://www.adgl.com.au/certificate-checking.php?numCertificate=h45965&submit.x=0&submit.y=0&submit=submit

since I cannot compare both ring side by side, I would like to know is the replacement ring is lower grade. since I m not familiar with cutting, angle..etc..

I would like to like if i ot rip off by the retail shop

Well, they are both way too deep.

Cut grade (not GIA) is "good" which usually just means that it has been cut (not good).

And though the color is F, did you purposely select I1 clarity, or did they pick it for you? Many I1 stones have visible inclusions. Some I1 inclusions pose durability issues (like being damaged (breaking) during setting).

As for whether you got ripped off, that would depend on what you paid, what you think you paid for, and the difference in price between the original and replacement stone.
