Getting closer. I have contacted two PS vendors about my diamond project. I am looking at this two diamonds. Please help me compare. Thanks again for your help.

They''re both lovely stones, but the vendors have different policies - may be something to look into.

They are both very fine diamonds but I prefer the WF stone, the JA diamond is a bit too deep for me.
Well this comes as a surprise, but I actually disagree with you, Lorelei.

I know the JA is a little deep and sacrifices diameter because of it, but gains some of that depth by coming up high enough to make a small table, which I love. Thyey''re both very nice stones, though, and the mara82 you would be happy with either one.

LOL! The JA is deep as we know but if one prefers a smaller table then thats fine, its a definite option. As I said they are both great stones but for me for that type of stone its too deep and I would prefer the WF stone for various other reasons too. It comes down to personal preference.

Thanks again for your help.

What can I expect from a smaller table/ deeper stone?

Will one sparkle over the other?

I understand it if personal preference, but what exactly are you preferring with the smaller table vs. a larger table or vice versa?

Different table size and crown height. Slightly difference, maybe slightly more diffraction for the higher crown, but difference is really slight from the numbers.

EDT:
Best to compare both side by side, but as they are from 2 different vendors will be difficult.

No way to really compare them Mara as you would need to view the stones side by side to do this and this wouldn''t be possible unless you ordered both and had them sent to an appraiser locally.

I like many different types of table size so maybe Wolf will tell you why he particularly likes a smaller table, more important to me is how well everything works together in a particular diamond. Sometimes smaller tables can enhance fire or coloured light but its actually more complicated than that and that is a very generalized statement.

They are both excellent stones, as I say I prefer the WF diamond overall for other reasons as well as the depth but it depends on what you want. Both vendors also offer upgrade policies so if that might be a future consideration you might want to read the terms and condition of each and take that into account when you make your decision.
