Nice choices! I like #4 the best visually, but hopefully a cushion prosumer will chime in.

Are you open to other vendors or you BN?

I think they all look pretty nice/decent. At this point I think you need ASET images to help out but BN does not offer those.
I would be more apt to pick out one of the larger stones like #2 but they do seem to have slightly different flavors...see below.

It also helps to bring them all up at once in BN's comparison page and watch them all turn at once to see if one or more stands out to you.

These stones sort of have a splintery look outside of the X facets.

#4 (the one rockyS likes) seems to have bigger facets outside of the X which makes it more appealing

This sort of looks like its a mix of the two or sort of inbetween the two categories above

So...stare at them a lot and try to figure out which flavor you like the best. Here is a size comparison difference between the 6558 and the biggest
splintery looking one...If you are going to go with a "splintery" one you might as well go with the biggest one. I like the look of #4 personally but
not sure how much I would take size into account.

Each of these cushion-cut diamonds offers a slightly different pattern of light return and varying degrees of contrast which creates depth of field. Take note of those differences and see which of the diamonds seems most appealing from a visual perspective.

Thanks for your input! At this point, we are sticking with BN since they are duty free (we're in Canada) and we really like a couple of these stones =)2

Thanks so much for this information! You've really helped provide some perspective on the differences between the diamonds. My girlfriend and I looked over each one and are visually drawn to 3 (https://www.bluenile.com/ca/diamond-details/LD09139556) and 4 (https://www.bluenile.com/ca/diamond-details/LD09376588) the most, so I guess we like the bigger facets or mixed look more than the splintered look! At this point, the specs on each diamond are similar and won't make a huge difference to us non-diamond expert people!

In your opinion, is the splintered look less 'sparkly' overall because the facets are smaller? It is hard to tell sparkle from the 360 videos.

Each of these cushion-cut diamonds offers a slightly different pattern of light return and varying degrees of contrast which creates depth of field. Take note of those differences and see which of the diamonds seems most appealing from a visual perspective.

Thank you Todd! We definitely prefer 3 and 4 visually, so now just to finalize our choice!

Thanks again everyone! (BTW the links won't work for 3 and 4 as they are now on hold for us, but you can still search the reference number at the end of the link on BN and it will appear if anyone wants to look further )
