i love the second choice if it's for an engagement ring - i think it's delicate and classic and will really stand the test of time. if it's not for an e ring - i love the first one with the sapphires.

I will wear it as an engagement ring, but it is not my first ering. I have a simple half carat solitare as my first ering.

oh i definitley like the second one then! i also have a half carat rb on a simple white gold setting as my first e ring - if i were to upgrade i'd definitley choose no 2! what does your wb look like - i guess you will have to take that into account as well, unless your lucky enough to be updgrading that too

The ritani would be my choice. I love the side profile. If you want more delicate than I would go with the second setting.

The Ritani would also be my choice. I like some diamond weight in my mountings and I would choose the 2.5mm width of the shank over a very thin dainty band any day of the week.

I like 2&3 but I like the the look of a thin band better.

#2. I love the delicateness

I'm a fan of #3

I definately love the sapphire sidestones! Different from the norm and IMO will juice up your diamond quite a bit. Let us know what you pick!

I like the third one the best. (Ritani form Pearlman's)

Love the proportions of the Ritani but I also love the basket of #2. Tough choice! I would like #2 the most if the profile wasn't so high.

My first choice would be the Ritani and then second would would be #2.

I like the second and 3rd ones best!

if the ring is a RHR though the first would work great, for an ering I think either the 2nd or 3rd would be great!

I like the 3rd one the best, then the 2nd one.

Ritani......

More fluid elegant lines than 2d which is edgy sharper lines. I think that Ritani ring is more graceful and timeless.

I like the Ritani.

i absolutely LOVE #1!

in fact, in the back of my mind, i've sort of been playing out the scenario of having a 3-stone ring w/ sapphire sides. so gorgeous

I like the Ritani best.

#2 all the way. It is delicate and classy and timeless! LOVE IT :appl:

I pick #3. Even though I want one like #1

Ritani hands down.

Definitely the Ritani. It's gorgeous!

I love the Ritani.

I like #3.

I would choose #3 Ritani, it's lovely

Thanks you so much for all your opinions. It is so hard to decide. I found that ritani on ebay for 1300, which would be a good deal but the prongs look a little smushed together from the setting. I was worried about the solitare with claw prongs from james allen sitting a little too high for me. I think I am going to go with the sapphire sidestones. I guess I have always wanted sapphire sides. I just hope the sapphires don't look too dark. I have heard sapphires can look almost black in certain lighting. I wish I could see the setting and try it on before I buy it. I think james allen has a good return policy.

I went to a local jewelry store yesterday to look at settings with sapphire sides. They had a simple setting with two small 4mm round sapphire sidestones in platinum and they wanted 5,000 for the setting. Can you believe that 5,000 and it was not a designer setting. I tried to control the shocked expression on my face. I will definetly be ordering online.
