Re: Help me choose...Tiffany Novo or Lucida with diamond ban
Both are really classic looks- but if you want to wear a band I prefer the novo. Also if you have a smaller/average size diamond I think it "pops" more in the novo since the band is visually more delicate. But honestly both are very beautiful!
Re: Help me choose...Tiffany Novo or Lucida with diamond ban
i vote for the lucida, the split-shank complements the stone really well and looks more substantial on your hand thanks for posting these, ive never seen a real life pic of that lucida setting. Do you have any more shots?
Re: Help me choose...Tiffany Novo or Lucida with diamond ban
My vote is for split shank. But I'm also bias because the last two or three girls I've known that has gotten engaged recently has gotten a "novo"-inspired or actual Tiffany Novo ring so it makes me less apt to choose the novo.
As for trendy, if it's something you love, it will never be trendy! It seems like you are torn between being being classic and being trendy. To me, the only classic ring is the plain solitaire, so both styles could be considered trendy. People have even said the novo - cushion stone with pave sides - could be considered trendy. But go with what you love and you won't regret it!
Re: Help me choose...Tiffany Novo or Lucida with diamond ban
Ditto. I think both styles are timeless and classy, but I wonder if the split shank ERing will make it difficul fir you to find a wedding band you love. Either way, I don't think you can go wrong!
Re: Help me choose...Tiffany Novo or Lucida with diamond ban
I vote for the Novo it draws attention to the center stone. Also with this setting you can wear pretty much any type of wedding band w it. The split shank I think w the wedding band it will be too busy.
Re: Help me choose...Tiffany Novo or Lucida with diamond ban
What size stone would you be getting?
I recently tried on a split shank with a cushion (like the split lucinda) with around a .60 or so ct. stone and it looks AMAZING. Just so pretty. So if under 1ct, I would go split shank no doubt.
