Help me choose between these 3 stones :)

Prefer 1. Request ISs to confirm, and hearts photo for 1.

Honestly out of those three I would go with the J SI1. If you were going to go smaller 1.25 range I would rather them look at this one

http://www.jamesallen.com/diamonds/J-VS2-Ideal-Cut-Round-Diamond-1370831.asp

Factor Grade
Light Return Excellent
Fire Excellent
Scintillation Excellent
Spread
or diameter for weight Very Good
Total Visual Performance 1.6 - Excellent
within TIC range

Rather than the I you had picked

Factor Grade
Light Return Very Good
Fire Very Good
Scintillation Very Good
Spread
or diameter for weight Very Good
Total Visual Performance 2.3 - Very Good - Worth buying if the price is right

I honestly would not even consider the K you picked out

Factor Grade
Light Return Good
Fire Very Good
Scintillation Good
Spread
or diameter for weight Very Good
Total Visual Performance 3.7 - Very Good - Worth buying if the price is right

You would be much better off have them check this one to see if it's eye clean

Factor Grade
Light Return Excellent
Fire Excellent
Scintillation Excellent
Spread
or diameter for weight Very Good
Total Visual Performance 0.8 - Excellent
within TIC range

If it was me I would call them back and replace the K and I with different diamonds for them to check such as the ones I listed, otherwise they really aren't doing a fair comparison to see which one is the best, I will pretty much bet the J will be the best :appl:

I forgot to add, I am soo happy your were able to return the previous ring, because either way I am confident you will have a much better quality ring :appl:

Thanks! Me too lol!

Ok I asked them to swap in this one: http://www.jamesallen.com/diamonds/J-SI1-Ideal-Cut-Round-Diamond-1363422.asp for the smaller 1.27 carat one I had (removing http://www.jamesallen.com/diamonds/I-VS1-Ideal-Cut-Round-Diamond-1360513.asp)
. I've decided to stay around 1.5 carat. Even though the 1363422 has a visible inclusion in the pic, hopefully it will come out nice and eye clean, and the inclusion can be hidden by a prong since other than the big one, it seems to be the best of the bunch.

The only reason I am considering the K is because it is a VVS2. And I'm curious how it looks under the idealscope.

edit, so the new three are:

Pic of the K is far from promising, not worth wasting one of your 3 ISs on. Get hearts pics and ISs to confirm for both Js.

You'd likely see the size difference between them if you had them side by side, but from afar, once set, those differences wouldn't be discernable. The 1.45 will show more white light return in various types of lighting, the other will show more colour..

You can ask about visibility of the inclusions - as a rule it's not a good idea to try to determine real-world visibility from photos, but given the size of the 1.45 those inclusions would be ~1.7mm in, and under the table - you aren't going to be able to get them under or near normally sized prongs. If you are choosing an open setting that will expose much of the girdle, I assume again given the size of stone the combo of thin girdle + shallower crown is not something to lose sleep over, but I would ask for the gemologist's professional opinion for reassurance re. durability.

Oh, good I'm glad you put that other J in there, that way they can compare apples, to apples :appl:
