Help me choose a wedding band!

I am having trouble choosing a wedding band. The problem I am having is that I can't just have a normal wedding band because there are diamonds on the prongs that extend to the bottom of the head of the ring. A regular wedding band won't sit flush against my engagement ring. I've attached a picture so you can see. I know that I could get a wedding band that curves around but I'm not crazy about that look either. Any ideas?

I know you said you don't love the curved band look- but maybe an ever so slight curve would look good?

Would you consider a knife edge band? http://www.jamesallen.com/wedding-rings/womens-wedding-bands/18k-white-gold-women-wedding-rings.html or something similar with a graded profile so the band sits closer to your ering?

Or perhaps, simply just leave a gap. Lots of ladies do.

Oh, yes, there is nothing wrong with a little gap! I honestly don't like rings that look glued together anyway. I would get a straight band that is made like the e-ring shank. You may be able to get the matching band from whomever made your e-ring. But if not, Maytal Hannah made my daughter's beadset/milgrain wedding band and it is beautiful and was reasonably priced.
