I really need help deciding between two settings. The things that are important to me are the flushness of the side diamonds, I really don't like large spacing in between each stone. Also, sparkle is of GREAT importance :) The two settings I am choosing from are:

and
http://www.jamesallen.com/#!/engagement-rings/pave/platinum-pave-set-four-prong-diamond-engagement-ring-item-3249

What are your thoughts and opinions? I really need to decide soon and would love some help. They are starting to look exactly the same to me.

MY CENTER STONE IS:

The second one is overall nicer.

That F VS2 leaks a little bit. I would look into these:

http://www.jamesallen.com/#!/loose-diamonds/round-cut/0.81-carat-g-color-vs2-clarity-excellent-cut-sku-199507

Couldn't find any F+ VS2+ that I liked for under 4500. You will have more options if you go to SI1. This one is interesting, if JA says it isn't too contrasty http://www.jamesallen.com/#!/loose-diamonds/round-cut/0.81-carat-f-color-si1-clarity-excellent-cut-sku-171275

What do you mean by "leaks"? Sorry I am new to diamond shopping.

Of those 2 settings I like the 2nd one better.

Agreed - take a look at the diamonds linked above.

A little leakage is normal. The leakage in the F VS2 possibly is not visible to the naked eye. You can choose up to 3 from James Allen, and have their gemologist review them, and send you Ideal Scope photos.

The prongs of the 2nd setting look more delicate. I can see how it would be difficult deciding between the two. They look so similar!

Thank you I just talked to someone about getting the images!
