Have been "lurking" in the forum for sometime trying to better understand the process of buying a diamond engagement ring. I really started with a blank slate - thanks for those that have posted their opinions (and even questions).
The following is what I know:
1. She likes a cushion cut and the TIffany Soleste (halo) setting
2. I can afford ~2Ct
3. I believe she would prefer a modern (vs. antique) cut stone
4. I want her
I've been offered the following stones - they each fit my budget. I would appreciate some opinions on them - although I was originally thinking of a more rectangular (less square?) stone I believe the square one below would be my choice.
