Help me choose a 2 carat diamond!

Also somewhat considering dropping down to a K since it's so much cheaper: (after seeing the gorgeous pictures in another recent thread)

I placed the 2 JA ones on hold since I'm in NY and they said they can ship it to the showroom for me to see in person. I like how the I SI1 has strong blue florescence (the J VS2 has medium blue) but based on the idealoscopes the J looks better? But in the 360 view the I looks better to my eyes. Am I interpreting the idealoscopes properly?

The whiteflash ones are more expensive. I know the cut is great but does ACA have that big of an improvement over JA True Hearts which are also considered super-ideal? I guess my question is do you think it justifies the price difference? The ACAs also doesn't have florescence so I'm guessing the JA ones will appear whiter.

In terms of color I have had a 1.5 carat J and H and couldn't tell a huge difference between the 2, so guessing I'm not very color sensitive. I could see a difference when I first got the J but after wearing it for a week I no longer notice it. Since J doesn't bother me, do you think I can safely drop down to the K ACA? I'm concerned it'll show more color due to the larger size. Also have not seen a K in person so not sure if there's a bigger discrepancy between J to K than I to J.

I would call Whiteflash and request a picture of the I, J, and K together so you can compare/contrast. That way you can see color difference and
size difference. I always tend to vote Whiteflash for their great trade up policy and excellent customer service.

Looks like someone reserved the K so it's no longer an option (in a way I'm actually kind of relieved so I can stop being tempted)

What do you guys think of the 2 JA ones? There's about a $2.4k price difference. The idealscope, if I'm reading it correctly, looks better for the J than for the I (less pink). However, in the 360 degree videos, the I looks much brighter. I'm not sure if it's due to the color or the lesser fluorescence, or photography diffs, but the J looks darker despite its idealscope looking better? Do you think the cut is as good as the WF ACAs? They both score well on HCA (1.1/1.2).

I'm really torn as with WF I know I'll get the best cut, but the JA ones are much better value for money. I'm not too concerned about the trade up policy because this is probably as big as I'll want to go.

Both the JA are showing as sold. I would pick the I, SI1. There may be a reason why it’s significantly more expensive than the J, VS2. Which also looks quite yellow to me! I personally wouldn’t normally go that low in colour but depends on your tastes.

Both have AGS certificates and 000 cuts - you’re fine there. Anything else Re: light performance is splitting hairs. I only briefly glanced at the ASET as it’s computer generated and i’m On my phone.

The WF ACA is what it is... with a small price premium given the full service and ACA branding. Choosing between the WF and the JA is a hard one. My loyalty has always been unashamably been with WF but as long as the JA one is eye clean, and there’s a good chance it may be, i’m liking it. It’s your call. Put both on hold and then decide.

The black carbon inclusion right on the table irritates me on the JA VS2. I don’t like that one.
