Help me choose a 2-3 carat round brilliant!

Hello!

Here's what we're looking for...

2.3-2.9 carat round brilliant
excellent/ideal cut
G color
vs2-si2 eye clean

The things I care about most are:
1. sparkle
2. size (bigger the better )

Other than that, I'd like it to be eye clean and not too yellow.

As someone who was in your shoes a couple of weeks ago, I just wanted to mention that the only one I would consider is the first one you posted. The others don't look too good to me in terms of cut and/or inclusions.

If you want to broaden your search, try looking at I VS2 stones as well, even I SI1, preferably with fluorescence to help offset tint. Then you can compare a higher color/lower clarity to a lower color/higher clarity type of combo and see which one hits your sweet spot to get you what you want in terms of size and price point.

I know.. here is a little chart that PSers go by to choose ideal cut round diamonds. The one you posted above doesn't fall into these parameters and you can kind of tell.



Honestly, since you're not doing a trade-in (I don't think so from what I've read), you should look at Whiteflash. Their ACA's are guaranteed to be perfectly cut and everyone on PS raves about them. Here are a few of the ones I was really considering and I think they are priced reasonably well. You can see from the videos they sparkle like mad. The second one faces up largest (will look like a 2.5 ct) but doesn't have the eyeclean logo. Maybe you can ask them more about it if ever you're interested in that one. There are more if you search on their site.

Thanks!! THose are so great! I'm particularly loving the second and third option. I am a little worried about the second not being eye clean.

I am also slightly worried about the i color looking yellow. Thoughts?

Would really love and appreciate your opinion on this rock. It is si2..and looks kinda dirty. Do you think those marks will be noticeable? In terms of cut, it scored 0.9 on hca and looks good. Help!
