HELP! Looking to buy diamond for engagement ring

Hello,

First time posting and stumbling across this website. I don't know too much about diamonds but I know what type of ring I'm looking for. Long story short, I'm looking for an engagement ring very similar to the Harry Winston Cushion Cut Micropave Engagement Ring. I've done some research here on the forum and it seems to be a very common thing to do. I'm looking to buy the diamond and then have the setting done. I see that victor canera and Steven kirsch came up in other similar threads to get the setting done.

Budget: 10K - 20K (ideally 15K)
Carat: 1.00 - 1.50
Cut: Excellent or Ideal
Clarity VVS2 or better
Color: F-D
Florescence: None

Are there cultural reasons for such high color and clarity?

You wouldn't be able to tell a VVS1 from a VS2 with the naked eye if eyeclean. And G will not show any color.

Cushions face up small so getting some extra size out of your budget would not be a bad thing.

Both of those are quite terrible, BTW. I can find you better. But I need to know why you are asking for such high clarity?
