I purchased a round three stone ring with a center of one ct. and the sides being .5 s. I bought it from a family friend who is a jeweler at extremely good price with the thought of finding the perfect setting for the stones. I am looking for a platinum setting with bagettes or channel diamonds something unique. I have showed my girlfriend the classic truffel settings of Vatche and ritani but she would like something a little more unique, as she says something you dont see every day. I have looked everywhere and have not had much luck the closest thing I can find is is a platinum setting with bagettes on the side from Bailey banks and Biddle but still looking for other options running out of time thanks for all your help I have been a timid reader for the last six months but must now post do to need for help desperately.

How unique does she want? Here's something very different from here:

Sounds like a custom make of your design might be the way to go...

I always thought this was a pretty 3 stone style: http://www.billbarnes.com/product.asp?Department=7&Product=4322

If you are looking for something even more unique, perhaps add colored accent stones, or make a two tone ring (yellow and white/white and rose gold). I think rose gold rings are very unique and can also be quite beautiful! As stated above, a custom design may be a great option. Perhaps if you give us a little more info on the style you are looking for (antique, modern, contemporary, etc.) we can be of more service. I hope this helps. Happy hunting.

Have you considered Mark Morrell?

There are too many ways to arrange three rounds and a finger... The stones don't even have to be lined up (accross or along the finger, or sideways

) or sit next to the skin... There are really hundreds of crazy 3-stone rings to see. It would be fun to let the lady put something realy out of the ordinary together with a jeweler's help. It's fun and not uncommon. And I mean really fun
