Hoping some people can help me evaluate this stone: https://widget.cutwise.com/performance/v1/254619

The cut measurements look good to me, but I'm worried about other issues that can only be seen in the video.

I don't have as good of eye as other folks here, so hoping someone can let me know if they see any of the various lab grown issues that don't show up in the 4C's.

Thank you so much!

This is the other option I have. There's a ~$4,000 difference in price going up to this 2.70 one.

I think they both look good on paper. The video of the first one looks pretty decent. I'm not seeing fantastic symmetry (some arrows are grey, some are black) but that could be the angle of the diamond. If I were shopping, I'd keep looking because that's important to me. Where are you shopping? We could post some good looking stones if you want. Does it have to be D VVS2 or are you willing to consider DEF, VVS1-VS2?

I don't see any video for the second stone. Do you have a link?

Thanks for helping out! I'm working with a few local people, they seem to have better pricing, but selection obviously isn't as big. For reference the 2.5ct is $9500.

Here's a video for the 2.7ct: http://diamondgirl.website/videoanother.php?refno=4257250

I'd like to stick with D color and VVS2 or higher. Looking for something 2.5-3ct.

I'm not really liking either of these videos. The 2.7 seems especially bad.

Here's a stone I found for close to the same price. It looks incredibly clean, and I like the cut better.

Thanks for helping! Could you elaborate a bit on why the 2.7 is especially bad? I don't notice anything and would like to learn what to look for.

I would also consider going smaller than 2.5, I really just want a great cut! I've heard good things about Yadav.

I put together a RareCarat search here with 6 options:

Also these two seem really nice to me:

I circled a few examples. The areas outlined in orange indicate an uneven pavilion. The areas outlined in aqua indicate leakage.

The last one looks like a winner! I really like it. And I've also heard good things about Yadav.

Wow thanks for the detailed image! I think I'm still pretty bad at this, but that definitely helps a lot.

I really like that one too, how do you think it compares to a "Hearts and Arrow" like this one?

H&A as designated by the lab doesn't necessarily mean that it's a true H&A. I noticed that James Allen did not designate it as one of their True Hearts. But it's possible that the 2.12 has slightly better optical symmetry.

Here's one to consider...it's an SI1, but cleaner than plenty of VS2 that have bigger and more prominent inclusions that I've seen. 8.8mm spread.

Here's a VS1 with fiery proportions. 8.55mm spread.
