Hi there!
Can anyone help me I am looking at a 2.29ct RB stone with a 63.4% total depth and a 56% table.I don''t have the crown angle.Isn''t the depth too deep? It has an EGL Cert D-SI1,Price is 19,600. What do you all think-Thanks!

63.4% depth with 56% table sounds a bit deep.

Re: price. Are you buying from a local source or via the Internet?

I just ran a comparison on Pricescope. There are several GIA graded diamonds listed by several vendors in the Internet with better depth for about $2,000 less

The stone sounds a bit deep, but could be very nice... Do you know the girdle thickness? Maybe the stone has a medium to thick girdle and this would explain the high depth...
Definitely ask for crown and pavilion, as EGL shows them in all the reports.
